I think “I pooped in the birth canal” would be a great title for your next book.

I really appreciated your explanation of the whole Carolinedooner handle on Instagram and that you’ve oriented us as to where you are now. And I am most interested in your take on trauma (especially early childhood or birth) and emotions. A subject dear to my heart. Can’t wait to keep reading…xo Susie

I appreciate you and your work immensely.

The first book I read on my intuitive eating journey was health at every size, the second I read was TFID. They both changed my life in the scales-from-my-eyes sort of way

And then I read dozens more on IE and HAES because I really love to read. Some brilliant (Nourish, Anti-Diet), some not. The two originals I keep in my library to reference often;

When “things” went down in March it was difficult to watch. I kept wondering how a movement that had fought so hard for INclusion could turn so cruelly EXclusion-y so quickly. It was uncomfortable and I was sickened to watch the mob do this to one of their own.

The one reason I went seeking you (and your work) out is because I read your response to the people on instagram who asked “where you were” in <waves hands> ... And you responded well and bravely and honestly. And i appreciated it very much. It gave me the permission to walk away from all social media for a little while. And take my own version of rest. Thank you.

I don’t understand the impulse to get mad at someone over an automated email. GET A LIFE JEN.

When you didn't work on yourself, did you still (for example) do some tapping if something very emotionally charged happened, or that kind of stuff? Or did you do literally nothing like that?

i definitely dealt with things as they came up, with stuff I knew that would help, i just didn't SEEK OUT any self improvement, or work it into my life. My "self-improvement" was resting, and resting from self improvement
